Here are some pictures
of the WA3UMY 223.90 MHz repeater system located
in Hollywood, Maryland. These were taken on 18 January 2002.
The repeater is packaged in a
standard radio relay rack. Shown (top to bottom)
are the Tx Rx Systems 4-cavity duplexer, repeater controller, Hamtronics transmitter,
Hamtronics receiver, 100 watt Mirage amplifier (mounted behind the rack panel),
and the Astron 50-amp DC power supply to power it all.
The repeater antenna is
currently a Ringo Ranger. It is the lowest antenna
on the rear tower on the right side but still over 70' above the ground.
Here's a closer view of the
repeater antenna... the lowest
vertical antenna on the right side of the tower.
