This Page Stars: "ROCKET MAN MICHAEL", Joseph, Helen, Brian, Steve and Richard on a COLD DECEMBER DAY IN 2000 to Remember MICHAEL's FIRST ROCKET FLIGHT AT TIMONIUM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

Here are a bunch of Rocket Photos - Unfortunately, we put a Size D Engine in this Rocket and it flew way out of sight! We eventually found it lodged in a person's tree about 1/4 mile down range. Our thanks to Steve Knox (N3UYC) - Unsung Hero - (not in the photos) who found Michael's Rocket! Thanks Steve! Steve's "bull dog persistence" paid off and he found it hanging about 75 feet up on a tree limb. So we donated Michael's rocket to the neighbor, shed a tear and are now more experienced Rocketeers! It was really fun and a great learning Experience with an Estees Rocket. Michael did a great job with his first Rocket Flight at the Timonium Elementary School. Lessons Learned - Use A or B Size engines on a still calm day on a field the size of Timonium Elementary School. Also - Bring Spotting Binoculars next time!

This was a great first Rocket Flight for ROCKET MAN MICHAEL - we all had a blast! 73 - de WA3SKQ Rich
