LIGHTHOUSES - BEACONS  IN THE DARK

     All of the above describe what makes Lighthouses such an interesting subject for many people. Our interest started about 25 years ago when we moved to the New Jersey Shore and got our first look at the Barnegat Light House on Long Beach Island in New Jersey.   Ever since then we have enjoyed visiting and reading about different lighthouses around the country and the world. Two of our other special interests (HAM RADIO and GENEALOGY) have increased our interest.   As a result we wanted to share some of the things we have discovered about LIGHTHOUSES.

	Visit our favorite Lighthouse! Barnegat Lighthouse located on Long Beach Island in New Jersey. Our Amateur Radio Club sponsors a Special Event Station from here every August.
