World's Smallest Homebrew Self-contained Grid Dipper

This is my claim to the book of world's records. The smallest self-contained grid dipper! It is built into a 5.5"(long) x 3"(wide) x 1.25"(deep) LMB crown-royal mini box. The AC power supply is built in, and yes it uses a vacuum tube oscillator!

This little gem covers 1.8 mhz to 300 mhz in 9 ranges. The plug in coils are wound on 3/8" diameter plastic rods (hobby shop), and use 'RCA' phono connectors (just like Heathkit). The variable capacitor is a two gang BC unit from an old vacuum tube portable radio. The power supply uses two 6.3v 300ma filament transformers back to back driving a full wave bridge rectifier. These transformers were obtained from Radio Shack (no longer in the catalog). The meter came from a miniature jap cassette recorder, the meter adjustment pot and power switch unit was another discontinued Radio Shack item. Can't find the tube in the picture? It's in the upper right hand corner of the box. That's a 6CW4 Nuvistor. Pictures below:
