These boats are extremely stable. I am sitting up on the hinged backrest that flips up
onto the stern deck. It not only allows you to stretch your legs without getting out of
the boat, it gets you up higher in order to see over the tall grass in the marshes as well.
Of course, as with any boat, the higher you get, the more likely you are to end up in
the water. You want to keep that in mind when sitting up there.
