Our Christmas supper gathering was a huge success, thanks to all of you who braved the frigid temperatures to partake of a delicious meal. John Harry and crew at the First Street Bar & Grill, did a super job of preparing and serving us all in a timely manner. Our Thanks go out to them.
After the meal Mark Doehling WD0AAH gave a presentation on Victoria Springs Ham gathering and its upcoming 50th year of existence. He shared with us a number of photos of the park and Hams who attend each year. Mark's Dad Big Ed W0HQE & Harold W0ERW were instrumental in getting things organized in those early days. Mark is now the sole surviving member who has been to all 49 of the meetings and is very excited about this year's 50th reunion. (July 29-31,2011.(I think these are the dates).
