BVARC meeting was held on Sept. 25,2010 at the 1st Street Bar & Grill in Utica, NE. The meeting was called to order by the President, Martin AC0M, with 8 members and 1 guest present. The guest was Dale Schoening KG0KK of York, NE. He became a member of BVARC.
The Minutes were read and approved.
Martin AC0M gave a report on the York City Auditorium tower. He is talking with the City Administrator and they will let him know when we can install a 440 repeater on the tower. We will be able to use WA0HOU call sign and have it operated from any site.
Mark WD0AAH informed us that he will be able to get the use of a mobile communication trailer for Field Day next June. It will be air-conditioned.
Martin AC0M reported that some of our members helped out at the State Fair in Grand Island. Martin would like us to think of any possible public service projects that we could help with.
