The meeting was held at Mark's QTH WD0AAH during Field Day.
The meeting was called to order by President Martin AC0OM. Minutes of the last meeting were foregone.
We all thanked Mark WD0AAH and Gene KC0CXV for the meats they furnished for the supper and everything else that was purchased for Field Day. Motion was made and seconded to repay for the food, fuel, electricity, etc. Have everyone donate to this and if that doesn't cover it, the club will repay. (carried) Gene KC0CXV said he didn't need payment for the meat he donated. Tear down at Mark's on Sunday at noon or 11:00 a.m. Bill WB0SIP will report on Field Day to ARRL.
Martin AC0OM presented the Ins. Policy forms to the Secretary, for the clubs property.
Art Zygielbaum K0KIZ came and gave us Official proclamation from Amateur Radio Week. Martin also gave the Secretary the Charter of affiliation.
It was decided that Club items need to be labeled. A rotating beam would make better contacts.
Motion made and seconded to do what has to be done at the Hospitals for the emergency radio projects. (carried)
Discussion on Victoria Springs- July 24th and 25th. Contact Larry KC0DA. Mark WD0AAH is in charge and reported that Electrical hook-ups are $16.00 also you need park sticker. Meals on Thurs, Fri, and Sat.night , Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. Saturday Ice Cream Social. Transmitter hunt on Sat. night.Also BVARC Popcorn on Sat night. BVARC serves steaks on Sunday at the Potluck dinner. $6.00 - $7.00 for the steaks. Swap meet on Sunday morning.
Grand Island Club contacted Martin if any of us at BVARC would be interested in helping at the State Fair. Contact them at State Fair GI Hams. Org. If you help please wear an Orange vest if you have one and carry a radio. Can get vests there. Free admission for helping.
