ABOUT W8DRO
My name is John Harmon and i live in Charleston, WV.
I am 38 years old and as you might have guessed i am an (HAM)
Amateur Radio
Operator with the callsign of W8DRO (ex.
N4OKL).
I have been a ham since 1985 and i currently hold a General
class license. I am a member of the American Radio Relay League
(ARRL) and the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation of North America
(AMSAT-NA). My main interest is in operating the voice and digital
modes of communications available to licensed amateurs.
I spend most of my operating time on Voice and Packet via the Amateur
Satellites, we currently have many Birds plus the ISS,
the International Space Station (ISS), and the Space Shuttles
when they operate ARISS and also the Shuttle/ISS docked missions.
