Scioto Valley Amateur Radio Club

The Scioto Valley A.R.C. was founded in 1959 to promote amateur radio activity in southern Ohio. Over 50 years later, the club is still active in promoting the hobby and providing communications to the Scioto River Valley. Monthly club meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of the month, at 7:30 PM. Meetings are open to the public, and held at the clubhouse ( map ) located in Scioto Trails State Forest, Chillicothe, Ohio. A weekly net is held on Monday nights at 8:30PM on the W8BAP/146.85- (PL74.4) repeater.


The club maintains 2x 2 Meter, 6 Meter and 70 cm FM repeaters, as well as D-Star and APRS systems.
