The Great Falls Area Amateur Radio Club W7ECA is please to announce the W7G Special Event Station Celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Glacier-Waterton International Hamfest!
W7G will operate from 0700z (0000MDT) July 14, 1999 through 1900z (1200MDT) July 18, 1999.
W7G will operate with 1KW and beam antennas on 20, 15, and 10M. Wire antennas will service the 80 & 40M bands.
Look for W7G on the OSCARs as well!
The location of the station will be as follows:
N48 degrees 15.061 Min. Latitude
W 113 degrees, 27.770 Min. Longitude
The QSL route for the W7G operation will be via W7ECA

W7G will host many guest operators. Guest operators will select the mode of their choice.
Many of these guest operators will be new to the receiving end of a pile-up.
