The last two remaing lights.

The light fixtures that are on this plague are the only two remaining. They were hung on light and power poles along Main Street in Logan City to notify patrol officers of calls for service.  As calls came in to the communications center, dispatchters would flip the switch and the red lights along Main street would light up. Officers walking their beat would then locate a landline phone and contact dispatch. They were abandoned in 1972 with the advent of handheld radios. These are the only two that were preserved in 1991. The others were destroyed.
