My "Elmer" George Hutchins was the original holder of "6OM". In the early days of Amateur Radio ham calls did not have a prefix as can seen from George's 1923 QSL card. After he passed away I wanted to keep his memory alive and took W6OM for my primary call. It's an honor to hold W6OM and the historical significance is priceless. |
