Imperial County VHF / UHF Repeaters

The following are repeaters accessible from most areas within Imperial County. All of the "Black Mountain" repeaters can be reached from Yuma, Arizona. At the time of this posting all repeaters listed here are "open".

Black Mountain: - The WA6LAW repeater on 146.88, down 600 with a PL of 162.2 is located northwest of Yuma on Black Mountain. The "88" repeater is an open repeater and provides coverage of Imperial County, including the Salton Sea and greater Yuma area. The "88" repeater has emergency power backup and is sponsored by the Imperial Valley Repeater Group.

Black Mountain: - The WM6Z repeater on 147.12 down 600 with a PL of 103.5 is located on Black Mountain. The "12" repeater is an open repeater and is sponsored by Tom Wise, WM6Z, and is affiliated with the East County Repeater Association (ECRA) system. The "12" machine has emergency power and provides coverage throughout the Imperial Valley, including the Salton Sea and the greater Yuma area. This repeater is linked into the ECRA system.

Superstition Mjountains: - The N6LVR repeater on 146.67 up 600 with a PL of 103.5 is located on Superstition Mountain.. This repeater is a general purpose Imperial Valley repeater and does not have emergency power. This repeater is part of the ECRA system.

Monument Peak - The KA6DAC repeater on 147.24, up 600, with a PL of 103.5 is located on Monument Peak and is part of the ECRA system. The "24" machine provides coverage throughout Imperial Valley. This repeater also covers portions of the San Diego area.

Mount Laguna: - The WB6WLV repeater on 147.15, up 600, with a PL of 107.2 is located on Mt. Laguna and is sponsored by the San Diego Repeater Association. (SANDRA) The "15" machine is an open repeater and provides coverage to the greater Imperial Valley and San Diego area.
