This is a picture of some of the surrounding area... It's really nice to come up here to the high country, especially when you're used to 100 degree temperatures and blowing tumbleweeds.

On the left is a picture of Lake Isabella which is east of Shirley Meadows. On the right is a picture of the southern section of the Sequoia National Forest.
