TR4W
CONTROL OF THE K3
The following instructions describe how to implement CAT control of the Elecraft K3 from within the TR4W logging software while running in a Windows environment.
Both the “CLR” (RIT) and
the VFOs of the K3 can be controlled by defining function keys in TR4W. This allows the RIT to be turned on and off,
and to be cleared, and the VFO A and
VFO B frequencies to be interchanged from the keyboard using the Function Keys.
Start TR4W and open the
Configuration File for either an existing or a new contest.
1. From the main logging window select Settings and then Program messages. This will bring up the Memory program
functon screen.
2. Click on the
first option bar Press C to program CQ function key. The List of messages screen will appear.
