The URL links below will take you to images from the Cannon AFB WX RADAR (KFDX), west of Clovis, NM. These images are usually centered on Chaves County.
The images will update each time a complete RADAR volume scan is completed. The update will be every five to six minutes, when weather threatens. In times of very clear weather, the RADAR volume scans are less frequent.

When the Chaves Co. NM weather is clear, W5ALL may
temporarily switch to some other location within range of the Cannon RADAR
(where the WX is more interesting).
Time is UTC (z) and distances are in nautical miles
(nm). Range Rings, if present, are at
25 nm intervals.
Until you become familiar with the Level3 Doppler RADAR data, the Composite Reflectivity 248 nm (CR 248) will probably be the most useful to you.
The following data may be on the image, in addition to the NEXRAD RADAR data. Any one of these additional data may be turned on or off by W5ALL, depending on how cluttered the screen is getting. The APRS Position Tracker (ham storm spotter) will always be left on, but the other APRS position and WX data will often be turned off to reduce screen “clutter.” Likewise, the NWS METAR stations may be turned off.
The GOES Satellite cloud image will be from visible light during daylight hours and IR after dark – but will not always be enabled.
For some unknown reason, the range rings aren’t uploading to this web site.
The APRS ham storm spotter symbol will be one of the following, where green represents a beacon heard within the past 11 minutes, yellow past 21 minutes, and red an up to thirty-minute old beacon.
