My name is Albert Dupont Jr. and I have been a ham radio operator since 1991. My first callsign was KB5RPJ. I am originally from Houma, Louisiana which is about 60 mile southwest of New Orleans. Above is a picture of my garage/hamshack as it appeared a few months ago. I have moved a few things around since then. My main interests in ham radio are radio's from the 1950's through the mid-1970's. I really enjoy the Drake's most of all. They seem to have survived "the test of time." With a little bit of cleaning and maintenance they keep right on "ticking."

Below are links to pictures of some of my radios as well as some advertisments that appeared for the radios in QST and CQ magazine. I will be adding as fast as I can. Also below are links to pictures of WA5VIV's hamshack. He was my wife's grandfather who became a SK about 10 years ago. There are pictures of his radio's and test equipment from the 1940's through the 1980's.

The 5AFD links are pictures of a 1920's Ham Station along with a little history of the station. Fans of vintage ham radio equipment will enjoy thoses pictures.
