Main Interests: |
|
I primary work CW on all HF bands.
I enjoy working DX and exchanging QSL cards. |
Station: |
|
My rig is an Alinco DX-77T,
100 watts. I use an MFJ Morse Keyboard Keyer which makes it easy to send at whatever speed
is convenient. My antenna is an 80-meter center fed Zepp with transmit quality 300 ohm
line. I work 2 meters with an Icom IC-02AT hand held transceiver using a Larsen
Koolduckie antenna. |
Additional Comments: |

I was first licensed in 1946 as W9DNZ
in Indianapolis. After moving to Savannah, Georgia to work for WTOC in that city, I received
my W4DNZ call. I also had a 2 and a 6 call dues to moving around to follow my career as an
electrical engineer. Look for me on the Bristol local net, Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. and the QCWA net on Sunday. |
