Not only do they serve as good service oportunities, but they also help you keep good tabs on the condition of your equipment, and they are a great source of fun and friendship! No mater if you're a Novice, Technician, or an Extra, there is a net for you. Pick a few and ty them out today!
1:00 p.m. - Virginia Traffic Net (VTN); 3907 kHz; daily.
6:00 p.m. - Virginia Sideband Net (VSBN); 3947 kHz; daily.
6:00 p.m. - Old Dominion Emergency Net (ODEN); 3947 kHz; First and Third Mondays and last Wednesday of eath month.
7:00 p.m. - Virginia Slow Net (VSN); 3680 kHz; Tuesday (13 wpm).
7:00 p.m. - Virginia Net Early (VNE); 3680 kHz; daily except Tuesday (25 wpm).
7:30 p.m. - District 13 ARES Net; Rotating Area Repeaters; Tuesday.
8:00 p.m. - '805 Ragchewers' Net; 146.805 MHz; daily.
9:00 p.m. - Virginia Tech ARA Net (VTARA); 146.715 MHz; Tuesday.
9:00 p.m. - District 9 South Tidewater ARES Net (STARES); 146.97 MHz; daily.
10:00 p.m. - Virginia Net Late (VNL); 3680 kHz; daily (25 wpm).
10:15 p.m. - Virginia Late Net (VLN); 3947 kHz; daily.
All times are local, and conform to seasonal changes. All operators are reminded that a 200-watt limitation applies to all
Virginia CW Nets since they operate inside the Novice/Tech Plus segment
on 80 meters.
