    		During the high winds early last week, the portable tower suffered catastrophic failure of 2 legs, resulting in damage to elements of the X7 antenna. The antenna has been removed from the tower and bent sections removed. The tower has been returned to the shed with the broken sections.

  • Passed the 300 (non-deleted) DXCC level
  • The club worked 8 ATNO for DXCC (+12 ATNOs on CW and RTTY)
  • Passed the 1000 DXCC Challenge level
  • Worked 27 new DXCC entities on 40m (thanks to the new beam and tower)
  • Second highest total of DXCC worked in a single year (highest was 164 in 2009)
  • Raised the 5-Band WAZ total to 170
  • Passed the 40,000 total QSOs level
  • Confirmed a couple more entities for WAS Triple Play (six more to go)

    		Replaced the 40m beam Orion rotor with a HAM-IV. The HAM-IV rotates from 200 through 15 degrees, but would not rotate the full 360 degrees. Further work is required.
