Upgraded the club's remote station
Added capability to operate on CW/SSB and pass audio to/from the romote station *Note: The club's original remote station was operational from June 2021 through July 2024. It was remotely operated from Philadelphia, York, Chicago, Detroit, Whitefish MT, Seattle, San Francisco, and aboard the Amtrak's Empire Building train at Minot ND. Over 6700 QSOs were made using this station. |

Shed Cleanup Work Party
The shed cleaning went really well. Much easier to get around in there now. As a result of the cleaning there were several excess items identified. Big items, such as PVC pipe, some metal pipe, and miscellaneous items were put behind the club house. We will leave the items there a couple weeks to give members a chance to check it out. After that, we will figure out how to dispose of it. |

24 GHz DXing at W3ZGD
Steve (K3WHC) and Dave (K1RZ) visited the W3ZGD club site to do some DXing/experimenting on 24 GHz (SHF). Dave set up at the club (FM19RU) beaming 90° while Steve (W3WHC) drove over to KO3T's QTH (FM19tu) and set up beaming 270°. After only a couple minutes of tuning, initially on CW, they made 2-way contact on SSB with very strong signals both ways. |

The 40m balun was repaired and is now operational. The antenna's center resonance was adjusted down band a little to provide better full band coverage. The 80 meter antenna was adjusted to move center resonant frequency down band to provide better coverage across the CW, Digital and SSB bands. |

Replaced the 40m beam Orion rotor with a HAM-IV. The HAM-IV rotates from 200 through 15 degrees, but would not rotate the full 360 degrees. Further work is required. |
