Another hobby of mine is Amateur Radio, more commonly known as ham radio. I was first licensed as a novice, the entry class of ham radio license, at the age of 15, way back in 1961. I have been enjoying this hobby for many years since. I currently hold an Advanced class license with FCC issued callsign W3WCB. During the cold winter months when my Corvette, Kawasaki and Suzuki ATV are in storage I spend many hours listening to the world via amateur and shortwave radio. These pictures are of my radio and computer room.

The Ham Radio hobby is well represented in my family. My brother Bob is , brother Rich is W3REB, brother Mike is W3MJB, nephew Rich, Jr is K3REB and nephew Chuck is K3CPB.

For those out there who are ham radio operators, my station equipment is a Kenwood TS-950 transceiver, Drake MN-2700 antenna tuner with a G5RV dipole antenna. On 144 & 440 mhz I use the Kenwood TM-741A dual band transciever. Both radios are interfaced with my computer allowing me to work PACKET, CW, RTTY and various other digital modes.
