Malyj Vysotskij Island (Zone 16):   This November 2005 dxpedition was put on the air by RU1AS, RX1AX, RA6LBS, RA1AR, RK3FA, RV2FW, UA9XC, OH5NE, OH5LID, UA2FM, RV1AC, RV1CC, UA2FF, RA2FW, DL5LYM and DL3DXX.  The island (IOTA EU-117) is located in northwest Russia, in Vyborg Bay between Finland and Russia.

During the two weeks of operation a total of 37,000 QSOs were made with emphasis on the low bands.  I made contacts on 80M and 30M CW.  The 80M contact was a new on for me on that band.  The QSL manager was DK4VW.
