About ICARC
The Indiana County Amateur Radio Club (ICARC) is a general-interest amateur radio organization founded in 1963 to serve operators across Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
We focus on learning, operating, fellowship, and practical service to the community while keeping the club welcoming for both new and experienced hams.
Mission and Goals
- Promote amateur radio across Indiana County.
- Support member education and mentoring.
- Provide emergency and public-service communications when needed.
Activities
- Monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month.
- ARRL Field Day, the Pennsylvania QSO Party, and local operating events.
- Spring and fall licensing classes and VE exam sessions when scheduled.
Membership
- New members are always welcome, whether or not you are already licensed.
- Visitors can attend a meeting, ask questions, and learn what part of amateur radio interests them most.
