Our sincere thanks go to Adam Smook, N2EWB, of Wantagh, who recently donated a fully assembled GAP Titan DX Vertical Antenna to the club. In his original correspondence to the club e-mailbox, he sadly announced that Robert (Bob) Lochner, K2ROG, a former member of the Wantagh Amateur Radio Club, had recently become a Silent Key. Bob also lived in Wantagh, but retired to Greenville, South Carolina several years ago. Adam asked that the GAP antenna be used by the club in memory of Bob, his friend and ham mentor.
