I was first licensed in 1958 as KN2PEQ and received my Tech and General Class license in the same year. Back then the "N" was dropped, so I became K2PEQ. I held that callsign until 1996 when I received K4ABC & then K2UJ in quick succession. But I was chasing W2CQ all that time and finally received it in March of 1997.
I am a DXer and am on the Honor Roll of the ARRL. I have over 300 countries confirmed in Mixed, SSB, and CW. My special interest is in RTTY and I now have 285 countries confirmed in that mode. I am also an active member of the South Florida DX Association.
I also like "Boat Anchors" (Old radios, both Ham & Broadcast). Check out some of the interesting sites I have buttons for. Scope out some of these sites.
I am the QSL manager for Sir Jose Cyntje - PJ2MI and have been since 1984. Sir Jose was Knighted by the Queen of the Netherlands several years ago and he also holds the callsign of PJ7JC for St Maartin.
