Clay County Amateur Radio Club was founded in 1923 when the telegraph was still the primary form of long distance communication and letters could take months to reach their destination. With the advent of radio in private hands, it brought communications from all over the world to your living room.
The purpose of the club is to promote the spirit of education and exploration into a hobby that welcomes all who dare to explore their own curiosity about what lies over the horizon and even into the heavens via radio waves.
Explore the site and visit the resource library to learn more about the hobby, what we are up to, where to find us and how to join.
Looking forward to hearing you on the air.
