Hello, all -
I wasn't going to post this here, but someone suggested that
with the profile of the speaker and the content, it would be
of interest to folks in the area. So I hope no-one considers
this as spam!
Ohmega Planar Resistor Technology
The Greater Boston Chapter of the IPC Designer's Council will
hold its next meeting on Tuesday, April 24th at the Best
Western TLC Hotel in Waltham at 6pm.
Topic and Speaker:
Bruce Mahler, Vice President of Ohmega Technologies Inc, will
present a talk on planar (buried) resistors and their benefits
in today's space and performance constrained world. While BC
capacitance has been well discussed in our group, this mature
technology represents the next step for reducing attached part
count and complexity. In use for over 20 years, Ohmega resis-
tor technology claims cost benefits when replacing soldered
components at as few as 3 or 4 resistors per board square inch.
Agenda:
Please note there is a $15 meeting fee for members, $20 for
non-members. Pizza/soft drinks will be served.
6:00 Arrivals and Pizza

7:00 Bruce Mahler/Ohmega Technologies: Planar Resistors
Location/Directions:

off route 95/128, proceed east on Totten Pond Rd and the hotel
is on the left.
RSVP's requested:
Please RSVP by sending an email to [email protected] with
the subject "RSVP IPC/DC" or phone Judy Horn at 781 942 7471

ment to attend as the food order is based on this.
Thanks and regards,
