Ok Steve, I understand your point, but my idea was that the common mode
rejection of the differential receiver takes over at some lower frequency,
making a lesser need for low frequency common mode termination. Of course,
if the common mode voltage is so severe that it exceeds the input range of
the IC, then it has to be terminated for these frequencies.
I don't have any idea what the frequency range for good common mode rejection
for PECL is, do you?
