Rich:

If I understood your question correctly, a good model should predict your interconnect behavior whether this interconnect is used within 50 Ohm environment or other impedance values.

Thanks,

  Subject: [SI-LIST] : Interconnects

  Question for all SI Gurus:
Most electrical data supplied by interconnect companies are based upon an ideal Characteristic Impedance of 50 Ohm test configuration. Now if a customer did not have an ideal 50 Ohm situation all this info is basically for reference, for there engineering Dept. Because alot of Info is dependent on customers configuration, my question is: What info is "most important" in determining selection of interconnects for High or Low Frequencies, without knowing configuration?

  Thanks for the replies,
  Rich
