Wow! I could see a ham transceiver in
The Lost World: Jurassic Park and hear a CQ call.....

Nick (Actor Vince Vaughn) desperately  searches the wreckages for the ham radio transceiver and finds it alive; its analogue  signal strength/power meter display still glowing dimly. As he rotates the tuning knob to bring it to the expedition  frequency, the characteristic Single Sideband Modulation (SSB) tuning audio is heard. He then picks up the desktop  microphone and give a CQ CQ call to InGen HQ, giving his position information in Longitude & latitude.
