For the benefit of candidate who have no radio background and would like to learn the radio theory covered by the ASOC Examination, HAM RADIO GUILD, a voluntary organization promoting Amateur Radio, based at Cochin is conducting a correspondence course covering Amateur Service Rules and Radio Theory from the fundamentals. The lessons are written in simple English. Morse code can be learned with the help of self teaching Morse code audio cassettes or Computer Software. By regularly listening to the cassettes, one can easily master Morse code. After completing this course, one can confidently appear for any grade of the ASOC Examination.
