Hi,
This is VU2HNN, Handle "NAVIN", QTH Mysore, in South India. My Ex Call sign was VU3NVS.
Iam in this field since 1992,July. I got my Grade II ticket in October,1993, until then i was a active SWL. Used to monitor daily the amateur band i.e., 7 Mhz, our local band and became familiar with the band, operating procedures and was easy coming on the band. My setup as an SWL was SENCOR RX 3 Bander
and long wire antenna. I built my own QPR CW TX and was on the air and made more than 700 2XCW contacts on 7Mhz alone.
In 1995 i got the incharge of SJCE Amateur Radio Club (VU2JCE)
A old club in Mysore and started DX activity. From then i used to participate in all national contests and got many Prizes and Awards.
I was student Co-Ordinator for 2 1/2 Years and I conducted training classes for ASOC (Amateur Station Operator Certificate) Examination.

My Favourite band is 21Mhz(15Meter). I have worked more than 70 Countries in less than TWO years, almost all DX contacts in that band!.
Local Activities
In India, 7Mhz is the local band and always Buzzing with activity, almost all QRP Phone and CW stations. Some times i Control the Charminar Net, A popular indian Net conducted during 0130 to 0230 UTC daily on 7.080Mhz. If you can please check in to the net.
