One my Good friend VU2DAS Om Mohan Das. The second VU2RVB Om Balakrishna a University topper and my Guru - Teacher who taught me morse and theory.

It all started one day at the Visvesvaraya Museum Library. Here I should thank our Physics teacher Mr H V Krishna Murthy at school, who sponsored Das and me to the Museum  summer vacation camp. Most of the time was spent in browsing the wonderful collection of reference books at the Library, one day Das told me that there are a few who are licensed by the Government to communicate with each other  from their houses over the radio.
Prior to this there was a spark in my life, 5 years ago a friend put a crystal diode across a telephone ear piece and connected one end to the cloth line and the other to the water pipe. The local Medium wave radio station was streaming in !!

Of lately digital modes without using Modem has bitten me !!
