This is the Racal TRA931 man pack radio.  It is a ssb, cw and am transceiver with about 20 watt output.

Manufactured date around the mid 1970. Power supply is 24V but can be operated down to 12Vonly with low power output. 28000 synthesizer controlled channels are available within the frequency range and a search control provides continuously variable coverage between the 1 KHz channel spacing.

TRA931 is dustproof and waterproof because of completely sealed. This together with conservatively rated components, ensures extremely reliable performance under the most severe environmental and operational conditions.
