Always the same problem expeditions are made for big guys only. Even in 2003 we can't made a qso with only 100 watts. It seems to be more than the modern times of hamradio today !!!!!!! Same on operators side they can't listen anymore wenn they go in the air in a expedition ???? I understand your frustration about USA and AO-40...but the timing of the information WE had was (1) you were blocked below 20 degrees (2) you would try to move the station (3) 7-Oct window came and went...we all thought there was no chance! (4) THEN we learned you successfully moved (5) so we were there on 8-Oct. So maybe it's just miscommunication...but even from your own satellite data, the pass on 8-Oct was far superior to the USA then 7-Oct. We *do* appreciate your efforts! Really! Hope to CU on Cocos, 73
