I was born in Wedderburn Victoria, Australia 1929, the year Nightmarch won the Melbourne Cup.
My Mother was Dulcie Gray and Father John Alfred Taylor. Both were born in Wedderburn.
My Great Grandfather on my Mothers side was Joshua Rogers Gray ,who in 1852 came to the
Australian goldfields from America and remained here until his death in 1902.

Towns and places I have lived are, Korong Vale, Sunshine, Caulfield, Ivanhoe, Greensborough,
Heidelberg, Bealiba, Surrey Hills and as a boy  worked  on  properties in Deniliquin.
I have worked on sheep stations, grocery stores, spent time in the Australian Navy and New Guinea, worked as a livestock attendant aboard ships exporting horses and other livestock,
worked for Victorian State Government, was Postmaster at Bealiba, a Parole Officer and with my wife Kathie, finally owned a transport and cartage contracting business.

Kathie and I have two children, a daughter Grayleen, a son Bradley and a grandson Jack aged 4 years. At present all living in Hervey Bay, Queensland.

Both Kathie and I are attempting to unravel the Family Tree. See our Family page, "Gray Family Page" Family Tree Maker.

Attempting to trace any of the Australian Gray's descendants of Joshua Rogers Gray, who arrived in Australia from America aboard the clipper ship Taralinta in 1852.
He married Eliza F.Donald July 1857 in Wedderburn Victoria Australia, where he died in the year 1902.
Also need any information on ancestry of Daniel Gray, born 26th April 1790 in USA or his wife Deborah Dudley born 3rd March 1791 also in USA.
Daniel Gray was surveyor and in the year 1837-38 he laid out the township of Graysville Ohio, dying at Napoleon Arkansas in the year 1842.
