At the VK3EM fox hunt in August 1998 one of
the transmitters was built into a road side post.
The transmitter was an old Alinco hand held
powered by two 6 volt lattern batteries.
The post was made by Peter VK3ZPF and the
transmitter slid inside. The post was then sat
beside the road. A few confussed hounds was
the result.
