Hi! from Tweed Heads Australia, my name is Lockhart Olsen although to those that know me 'on air' I am Les. I have been licenced since 1980 when I obtained my first call, that of VK2PEW, before upgrading to the present call of VK2JLO.
I also am a volunteer with the Volunteer Marine Rescue Queensland, located at Point Danger (Tweed Heads NSW)

I am an ex member of the   Chifley Amateur Radio Club (CARC). This club is located at Plumpton a suburb of Sydney NSW. Meetings are held each Saturday, with food available for the hungry hordes, Visitors are always welcome, their meetings/get togethers start around 1330 and finish ??????

The year 2001 was the fiftieth Anniversary of National Service in Australia
