This is me, my page, my story, and I'm stickin' to it ;-) -- Are you sure you want to continue?...
I am a 41 year-old baby boomer(or is that late bloomer?), finally living out my life-long ambition. You see, for as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of the opportunity to practice law (yep, you heard it right, a blood-thirsty lawyer ;-)). However, early familial responsibilities (and the economics associated therein), made it implausable for me to pursue that end until this stage of my life. And so it was that I spent twenty or so years toiling aimlessly away at mindless and menial endeavor(s). The years careened by and my regret mounted ... (you know; woulda' - shoulda' - coulda' - otta'?); still I never fettered in my dream...when in February of 1995 my wife(and best-friend), Trudy suggested that, if I was to ever fulfill my lofty career aspiration, now was the time...
And so it began, onward and upward!...
My first task was to better my meagre high-school marks to allow my entrance into under-grad school. This was accomplished in the summer of '95 when I achieved an 'A' in both Math30 and English30. My first year as an undergraduate was spent in the Faculty of General Studies at the University of Calgary. Since then I have majored in Political Science at the University of Lethbridge. It is my intention to begin my formal legal education at one (?) of the English Common Law Schools in Canada in September of 1998.
As I mentioned earlier, I am married -- Trudy and I have six great kids; two of which I delightfully lay claim to (Travis and Ashley), and three of which are Trudy's brood (Heather, Ryan, and Amanda). My hobbies/passions include: flyfishing / flytying, photography, jazz music, mountainbiking, amateur(ham)radio, tropical fish, and reading.
