My ham radio interests include :

tube-type ham and military radios (affectionately known as "boatanchors"),
especially Wireless Sets No.19 Mk.II and III,
"glowbugs", or simple homebrew tube receivers and transmitters,
programming commercial VHF-FM mobiles for Amateur use,
amateur radio direction finding (ARDF or "fox-hunting"),
APRS Telemetry with UIDIGI,
and "homebrewing" my own radios and test gear.

I'm also interested in radio-related topics in military history,

especially the history of RADAR and electronic countermeasures,
cryptography, and cipher machines.
