I discovered, in sending myself messages, that the confounded thing styles text like mad, sends html, and all manner of odd things. I suspect that a lot of people (me) don't know that, and have no idea that they're sending 100,000 bytes a message. Perhaps a reminder a week would be in order. This is good old Eudora. There's another setting I neglected to mention (and use! MY posts were Quoted-Printable, not plain text). I've corrected my Outlook setup, so this post should demonstrate the "Proper" posting method using Outlook. So, add to the steps listed below: Turn off Quoted-Printable. Tools / Options / Mail Format / Plain Text, un-click Use WORD for editor and Click Setring, and select "None" and Mime. They were discovered when I did my regular system scan. With all its warts, I continue to find that "good old Netscape" seems to give the least trouble - as long as you stick to Version 4.79 and stay away from 6.x! Easy to control what goes out and comes in . . . and the bad boys seem to prefer to irritate Bill Gates. 73/72/oo, George W5YR - the Yellow Rose of Texas Fairview, TX 30 mi NE of Dallas in Collin county EM13qe Amateur Radio W5YR, in the 56th year and it just keeps getting better! It is a complete and FREE email program with many powerful features, including processing rules, etc, and it not vulnerable to most (if not all) of the security issues presented by Outlook. http://www.pmail.com Chuck #1924 I am a happy Pegasus user. I don't get anything from those good people for this recommendation. +++++++++++++++++++
