(unless you have Rigblaster Pro which does not work with K2 without some workarounds! You only mention Rigblaster!) The K2 PTT and Key socket are the same thing...something to do with full break in I believe. To fix; If you have a Rigblaster plus disconnect the DTR jumper(?) in the top right corner of the Rigblaster (inside the box). The jumpers should be; (reading from left to right) ON,OFF,OFF,ON,OFF If you watch the led's D9,D11,D13 you'll see which one it is and can use the led's to identify the offending wire. If we are talking about a Rigblaster Pro; disconnect the lead from the Rigblaster Pro to the front mike socket while you TX from PSK. This can also be done by disconnecting the DTR wire from the 9pin serial lead, cutting the pin off the socket, or putting a switch on that line to allow the mike/digi to work together - but not at the same time! With some software you can adjust this in the software, I believe that MixW can do this. I don't use Digipan and don't know if that can also be adjusted in software. Take a look at the freeware program psk31 deluxe by HB9DRV it will track 40 incoming PSK tracks at the same time! The PLUS Rigblaster is a lot more adjustable in this respect and therefore easier than the PRO. 73 Rgds r -----Original Message----- From: elecraft-admin at mailman.qth.net [mailto:elecraft-admin at mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of WB4X (Brent Sutphin) Sent: Monday, March 31, 2003 1:37 AM To: elecraft at mailman.qth.net Subject: [Elecraft] KIO2 I have the K2 with the KIO2 installed. I use K2 Remote software for control. I all worked great. Recently I wondered into PSK31. What a great mode. I use DigiPan software and RigBlaster interface for PSK31. That too works great. Now for the problem...What do I need to do in order to use K2 Remote and the RigBlaster together? I am using the serial cable that I made with the KIO2. I am using pin 4 to key the RigBlaster. I tied in at the serial connector at the rig. From there I cabled to the RigBlaster. All this is working as it should, as long as I do not use the K2 Remote program. As soon as I bring it up, the rig keys and remains keyed until I kill the program. There seems to be a communication port problem. Can anyone help? Brent WB4X +++++++++++++++++++
