RMS Pactor / Winmor / Packet / Relay EMComm Operations

In Service to support EMComm in the Great Lakes Region of North America

RMS EMComm Simcoe County

The County of Simcoe recognizes the value of having Ham Radio stations as a key resource to add to their auxiliary communications operations. All fourteen municipalities, and two cities within the County are being equipped with the means to utilize Ham Radio equipment to support a "When all else Fails" mode, and to supplement inter-group links. A number of Ham Operators within the County have dedicated their station resources to support this program using a network based on the WL2K global system.
