EQUIPMENT AND OPERATION

Frequency: 28.1905 mHz (conforms with the RAC band plan which allots 28.190 mHz - 28.200 mHz inclusive to beacons)

Transmitter: Realistic HTX-100 10-M transceiver, 5W output.

Antenna: Vertical 10M mobile whip (similar to a "Big Stick), approximately 6 Metres above the ground.

Keyer: SB2 Freakin Beacon

CW ID "VVV VVV VVV DE VA3ROR VA3ROR VA3ROR BEACON GRID FN04EQ ORILLIA ONTARIO CANADA"

(5-second pause between transmissions)
