Submit YOUR photos! Please include a short narrative and remember, pictures are MUCH more attractive if they have a PERSON in them. So, put yourself in FRONT of the camera, please. If you don't have access to a scanner, you can mail me the picture, which I will scan and return to you. (Email me for the mailing address.) However, if you do your own scanning, please keep the finished product under 20K in size. Thanks much! -Bob.

From Dave Wilson, VE3BBN:  Greetings all.
I have just finished my converting of a gutted out WS19 set and turned it into a hi-power amp. The Amp, uses two matched 807's and the input power to the amp is approx 85 watts and the output is 40 watts. If you find this efficiency a little low it's because I am running it as a linear.
I intend to run the R/T from the 19 set (at approx. 3 watts) into the amp which should boost it up to the full 40 watts output. I tried it on the net with Dave VA3ORP and under bad QSB conditions he still said there was a
noticeable difference. I have just finished painting the first coat and waiting for that to dry.
When the second coat is on I will test the AM mode to see how she fares.
