Pictures of 19 set owners and their equipment.

Submit YOUR photos! Please include a short narrative and remember, pictures are MUCH more attractive if they have a PERSON in them. So, put yourself in FRONT of the camera, please. If you don't have access to a scanner, you can mail me the picture, which I will scan and return to you. (Email me for the mailing address.) However, if you do your own scanning, please keep the finished product under 20K in size if possible. Thanks much! -Bob.

Chris Bisaillion, VE3CBK in Kanata, Ontario, Canada (just west of Ottawa). As you can see, Chris has all the right bits and pieces, including the high power 19 set installation.

This shows the antenna Chris (VE3CBK) used for Atlantic Hop II. It's an original WS No. 19 rig, 34-foot mast, just right for a 1/4 wave vertical on 40M.

Here's Dave Lawrence, VA3ORP, in a display from last summer (1998) in one of the 19th century Martello towers along the waterfront in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The 19 set is obvious but there is also a "SLIDEX" encoder on the display board, a WS #48 behind his right elbow and a UC-6 switchboard behind his left side. (He refused to pose with a rose behind his left ear.) The rifle is a No. 1 Mk III* Lee Enfield, made in Long Branch (near Toronto). The uniform is dated 1942 and Dave is dated 1948.
