Are you a Brother Knight and an Amateur Radio Operator? Then please read on.

Bill Hanrahan, W1WH, had a vision. He thought that by utilizing ham radio he could bring together amateur radio operators who are, or want to be Knights. Bill is a fourth degree Knight whose enthusiasm for joining brother Knights in companionship and discussion is infectious. All are welcome to check into these worldwide nets. Brother Knights who are shortwave listeners are encouraged to tune in and join the website.

The net is scheduled as follows:

K OF C NET SCHEDULE - SATURDAYS (EASTERN TIME):

Saturdays: 0900 ET (1400 UTC): 7.193 MHz
Saturdays: 1500 ET (2000 UTC): 14.243 MHz

The net is a High Frequency net for hams that are either brother Knights of Columbus as well as hams who are interested in learning more about the Knights.
Please see the website http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/KofCNet for more information.

Also, for those interested, the St. Maximilian Kolbe Net precedes the K of C Net on Sunday evenings at 7:00 pm ET at or near 3.814 MHz. The Kolbe Net commemorates the life and martyrdom of Saint Maximilian Kolbe, the patron saint of amateur radio who was martyred at Auschwitz.
