This "Peter the Great" Diploma is given in honor of Peter 1, the first Russian Emperor and founder of the city of Saint-Petersburg.

Peter 1 was an outstanding military, political leader and statesman of his time. Under his guidance Russia became a great European and a naval State.

The Diploma is issued for the 325^th anniversary since the birth of Peter 1. QSO'S are taken later on the 30^th of May 1997.

To Be awarded this Diploma candidates are must have 325 points. Every contact with a stations in St.Petersburg region provides:

-to European stations - 10 points (total 33 contacts).

-to stations in other continents - 20 points (total 16 contacts).
