The SAWS feels that each Ham is very special and we would like to thank everybody who participate in our activities. The SAWS Amateur Radio Operator of the Year Award was started in 1997 to recognize those Amateurs who gave a extra effort in making our hobby better. The following Amateurs were chosen by area Hams as showing outstanding dedication to Amateur Radio. This Award is presented each year at Field day.
